Westcountry Land are pleased to be working with the land owner for a third time. This particular site is located on the South Eastern edge of Castle View Park in Mawnan Smith. The site benefits from an extant planning consent for Six self build affordable dwellings, which was granted some ten years ago and has never been delivered. In the current economic climate there is no appetite to build 100% affordable schemes on such sites, so Westcountry Land have identified an opportunity to deliver housing on this site. Using the exceptions planning policy, a detailed planning application for the erection of four dwellings consisting of two affordable and two open market homes will be submitted in 2017.
