Three towns in Cornwall have emerged as some of the quickest areas to sell a property.
New data from Property Solvers shows that house sale transactions across Cornwall have taken an average of 19.75 weeks to sell over the past year (March 2024 to March 2025). However, certain areas are seeing significantly faster sales.
The data reveals that St. Agnes (TR5) is leading the way, followed by Penzance (TR19) and St. Columb (TR9).
The dataset analyses over 487 property sales across Cornwall between March 2024 and March 2025.
To ensure reliability, only areas with a minimum of ten property sales were included in the analysis. St Agnes tops the list, with properties selling the fastest.
According to Property Solvers, the average time to sell a property in the top ten fastest-selling areas is 103.30 days (18.61 weeks).
Meanwhile at the other end of the scale, surprisingly areas like St. Ives and Penryn are experiencing longer selling times.

Co-founder of Property Solvers Ruban Selvanayagam commented: “While Cornwall’s sale times remain in line with historical trends, there are encouraging signs that greater adoption of tech-driven efficiencies by industry stakeholders will help reduce transaction lengths.
“A key example is improving the accessibility and transparency of property-related data, making transactions more seamless.”
The co-founder of the sell house fast company added: “It’s also worth noting that many buyers have been pushing for their transactions to complete before 1st April given the reintroduction of the 2 per cent Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) band.”
