Brixham, Torbay

The site is located on the southern edge of the popular seaside town of Brixham. It consists of three parcels of land, the majority of which is used as a seasonal camping field. Our landholding also consists of existing commercial buildings and an element of green field land. Importantly, the site is surrounded on all four sides with existing development and it is considered appropriate for a residential-led redevelopment for 145 new dwellings.

A planning application has been submitted, with the site now comprising two areas being promoted separately. The first parcel is currently subject to a live planning appeal, which is due to be determined later this year, for 28 dwellings. The former campsite will be subject to a separate planning application in due course.

The development of this site will deliver a mixture of open market and affordable dwellings together with other community benefits including a significant tranche of public open space, structural landscaping, substantial highways improvements, and improved pedestrian connectivity for the area as a whole, greatly enhancing the quality of the built environment in this part of the town.
