We purchased Harris House in the summer of 2020. The old farmhouse came with a small paddock, we agreed to sell the house to a local developer as a refurbishment project and retained the paddock. We had a refused planning application for 5 dwellings and then a dismissed appeal. We then consulted with the local planning authority and addressed the main concerns set out in the previous refusal. We resubmitted a second application for 5 detached homes, and this was granted in July 2024. This site was subsequently sold in the summer 2025 to a local developer.
