Gloweth Barton, Truro
The site is located immediately opposite Treliske Hospital to the western side of the very popular cathedral city of Truro, Cornwall. It is in a very convenient location and surrounded on all sides by housing development making it a suitable infill-site for residential development. The site benefits from a very mature boundary with many established trees giving a strong feel of privacy and seclusion. There is currently a charming farmhouse which needs updating and a range of derelict agricultural buildings which require demolishing. The site will be accessed through a tree lined private drive which will lead to an exclusive development of 18 family homes together with the existing farm house set in almost 3 acres.
We submitted a planning application in January 2013, after much negotiation with the planning authority, this application was withdrawn and re-submitted in August 2013. Planning permission was granted in February 2014.
