Menehay Farm, Falmouth

This is an important strategic residential development site on the western edge of Falmouth. The site measures 7.5 hectares (18.6 acres) and accommodates 226 new homes together with large areas of landscaping and public open space. Westcountry Land & Homes work closely with Falmouth Rugby Club, the freeholders, to promote the land for development. The proceeds of the sale directly finance improved and additional facilities for the Rugby Club and all of their teams ranging from Juniors through to the Men’s first team. Westcountry Land & Homes are proud to be involved with this project, which has wider community benefits than simply residential housing.

A planning application for 226 new homes, including 79 affordable homes for local people in need, was submitted in August 2016. The application was refused, and an appeal was subsequently dismissed in Summer 2018.
